Kultur und Zeitung [Jan. 23rd, 2008|04:51 pm]
* ABC News will be running a story tonight on girls + autism, both 6:30pm on World News Tonight, and at 11:35pm on Nightline (EST, yes). Check it out, if you can.

* A woman in Michigan City, IN, froze to death from turning her heat off to "conserve energy"

* NEWSFLASH! Rudy Giuliani is a petty spiteful fascist!

* NEWSFLASH! Mike Huckabee is a Dominionist bent on turning this country into a theocracy!

* [info]davidgallaher1's Zuda-winning webcomic High Moon begins its regular run today. Here's an interview with Dave at Wizard.

* Quote from a 1999 interview at the Superman Homepage:

Q: Can you let us in on any future/up-coming Superman-related projects you are working on or will soon be working on?

A: There's nothing right now unless the long-awaited 'Hypercrisis' storyline gets off the ground. That project - or 'The 12 Labors of Superman' as it's also known will redefine everything about the Man of Steel and the DC Universe and explain how John Byrne's Superman can exist at the same time as the Golden Age Superman or the quite different Weisinger-era Super-family. It'll be like 'CRISIS' but with a completely new concept to replace the simple expedient of a 'cosmic reset' button.

The interviewee, of course, is Grant Morrison, and the comment is about All-Star Superman, of course, before it was All-Star Superman.

(Check that site out, too, for 2 separate interviews with Mark Millar, in 1999 and 2003, regarding Red Son)
