THE LAW IS AN ASS DEPT:
* The regime admits to destroying Emails from start of Iraq war, Valerie Plame leak, and DOJ investigation of leak
* A North Dakota judge doesn't understand technology, finds in favor of spam corporation, says DNS zone transfers now illegal in North Dakota
* California Supreme Court refuses to hear appeal by worker against Lockheed Martin because 4 of the 7 justices hold stock in company -- because recusing oneself woulda been SOOOOO difficult.
Also:
* Man questioned in Hovey St. killings that left 2 mothers and 2 children dead
* GE to close plant in Bloomington, IN, to the tune of 837 jobs. Also, SallieMae cuts 117 jobs in Fishers, IN (350 nationwide). Good thing I didn't try to pursue further employment with them after my short contract around this time last year was done. Might've been one of the casualties.
* And on that note, I'd love to give a big ol' FUCK YOU to Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-MN, for her absolute stunner of a bullshit remark: "I am so proud to be from the state of Minnesota. We’re the workingest state in the country, and the reason why we are, we have more people that are working longer hours, we have people that are working two jobs." Yes, because us po-folk, we LOOOOVE working long hours, holding down multiple jobs, never seeing our families or friends... yeah. There are no words.
