* Crybaby Catholic priest in South Carolina will not give Holy Communion to parishoners who voted for Barack Obama. Ask me for the millionth time why I hate Christianity and everything it stands for, I dare you.

* The still-right-wing Supreme Court has ruled that the Navy is free and clear to conduct sonar weapons tests that harm whales and other marine life.

* Fans of Argentinean lower-division soccer club Chacarita Juniors hijack public buses to get to a match.

* Liberal women apparently hate Sarah Palin because of her great sex life. You remember when Dennis Miller was funny? Yeah, me either...

A German girl who won a "civic courage" award for allegedly defending an immigrant child from neo-Nazis has been found guilty of inventing the story.

The 18-year-old - named as Rebecca K - had carved a swastika on her own thigh, the court concluded, rejecting her claim that neo-Nazis had done it.

In February she had received an award from a Berlin association campaigning against far-right violence.

Which, as we all know, is horseshit. Just because Love & Rockets isn't anything alike in content to The Ultimates doesn't mean one or the other is not a comic.

Well, it does make sense, in a way. Catholics believe the whole Virgin Mary thing - that she was a divine figure instead of someone picked by God. The whole "no other gods before Me" thing doesn't apply to her, I guess.

The biggest problem with Christianity is the ones that *really* follow the teachings aren't the ones making the frontline news. Non-confrontation, benevolence, tolerance and peace doesn't sell newspapers.

I find it weird and uncomfortable that I'm still hearing more in the news about Palin than I am Obama. Hopefully four years in the spotlight will be enough time for the Conservative base to tire of her.

Brandon says that Batman doesn't have a case against Batman. Think about it - 'New York' is used in the title of every other film - you can't copyright that. And if you could - it would have expired by now anyway.

Not to mention - Batman is a real surname.
